| Description | Dec 27 40 Dear Peter.- The portrait etching of Mary arrived as a complete surprise and I have had great joy in having her with me all day. Every line is the line of a sculptor which to me gives it a richness of form that a painter cannot feel. It is so charmingly simple that it seems happily appropriate for a little girl.- "Hello Beautiful" has quite upset me with stirrings that lead to rebellion against all of the confining irritations of the factory, but it has |
