Alexander, Ph.D., called the meeting to order at 1645 hours. 2. Dr. Alexander thanked the members of the Society, the Officers, the Council gertbers , the Committee Chairrersons, and specifically, Dr. Eugenia Hosemberg, Dr. Andrzej Bartke (Editor of, Journal of Andrology), Dr. Larry J .D. Z:>~'1eveld, and Dr. Aquiles Sobrero for their efforts during the past year. 3. Secretary's Report: Rudi Ansbacher, I·i.D., ,N.S. We nm.; havE' 439 paying members, of ",hich 179 are Charter Hembers and 19 are Student r·lembers. Certificates of Membership have been sent to over 100 ne\'l members during the past year. Dr. Ansbacher thanked all for their help during his t\.. .. o years as Secretary, \'lhen the Society more than doubled its membership. The Secretary's report , .. as accepted as given. 4. Treasurer's Report: Richard J. Sherins, M.D. I .. ~ He are solvent. Income during 1979-80 ·was $22,000 with expenses of S18,000, .y'" of which about $11,000 ";ent for the' annual meeting. He have a net grovrth of about $50CO per year since our Society started 5 years ago, with current assets above $20,000 at this moment. The Treasurer's Report h~S accepted as given. 5. Constitution and By-LaHS Corr.mittee Report: Richard H. Harrison, Ph.D., Chairperson 83 of the 85 members \<Iho returned their ballots voted in favor of the ch~'1gcs sub~itted. As the Society grows, the By-LavIS v;ill have to be changed or modified. 6. Publication CO:1'w'11ittee: Eugenia Rosemberg, I·1.D., ChJ.irperson The first 2 issues of our Journal have been distributed. The 3rd issue is in press. Dr. Rosemberg thanked Dr. Emil SteL~berger for his effo~ts and for "Highlights in Andrology," ~:hich ,dll no longer be prLT1ted. Dr. Rosemberg reviewed the historical events leading up to the form~tion of our Journal ill1d introduced Andrzej Bartke, Ph.D., Editor of our Journal. To date, 15 manuscripts have been accepted for publication, 6 have been ~ejected, 5 are beine revised by the authors, and 6 are still beL~g reviewed. He encouraged all mer.1bers to submit manuscripts for cO:lsideration for public3.tion in our Journal.
