As you know, NIAMDD supports the variou8 progr8lls related to distribution ot hormones
to qualified investigators. The appropriate announcements regarding availability of these
materials appears in lbioorinology, and in the Journal of Clinioal Endocrinology and Hetab­ollsm.
I thought that our Joumal should also carr,y the announcements twioe yearly. 1here­tore,
in my capacity of Cha1:rman of the ~oprotein Subcommittee,. I contacted Dr. Salva­tore
Raiti, Director ot the National P1tu1tar,y Agency, who has forwarded the announcements
enclosed in this letter.
I all . also sending a copy of the corresponding pages ot the July, 1979 issue of Endo­Crinology
in case you wish to consider how to prepare it for our Journal.
I think that this will be a good addition to the services of our Journal to the
