The progress of Society depends
to-day on the progress of its lower
units. Civilization will advance
under the present condition of the
world only through the advancement
of its toiling millions. The only agency
under heaven that can accomplish this
is a Christian education that will make
at once better artisans and better men.
Then shall eight hours service be worth
more than ten hours pay and higher
efficiency and skill shall reach the
really benevolent end which strikes and
force and fire and dynamite shall
struggle in vain to seize.
