Dr. L. H. Pammel
Iowa State College,
Ames, Iowa.
My dear Prof. Pammel:
Your favor of recent date received and contents noted. I am quite sure there will be no difficulty now in getting the specimens of cotton for you, as the last two weeks have brought plenty of rain. I am not so sure about the okra.
I am keeping in touch with the young man who is collecting them, and have given him directions as to how to prepare some nice specimens for you.
With sincerely good wishes to yourself and family, I am,
Yours very truly,
G. W. Carver
Director Dept. of Research
& Experiment Station.
