My dear Dr. Pammel:--
Thank you for your fine letter of recent date. With reference to your question my diplomas read thus:
1st Bachelor of Agriculture.
2nd Master of Agriculture.
I recall the year the [previous] degree was given there was considerable discussion among the students who were to receive them as to just what designation they should bear.
Some of the faculty as I recall it wanted us to have Master of Science, we did not want that, saying it gave us no credit for our agriculture.
Wishing you and yours the choicest compliments of the new year. I shall be glad for further suggestions if you have them.
