Professor George W. Carver,
Tuskegee, Alabama.
Dear Professor Carver:
I am in receipt of your letter of July 15th which pleases me very much, and I am glad to know that you liked the little article. I have made it a point not to include any of the living men in these articles. The one exception made was in the case of Dr. William Trelease; but, because he had retired from his work, it seemed appropriate to address him.
I am planning to republish all of these biographies in one volume a little later and this will include a great many men. Then I wish to include you as well as other.
If people want to help me in defraying the expenses, I want to republish them soon.
Yours truly,
L. H. Pammel
