Dr. L. H. Pammel,
Ames Iowa.
My Dear Prof. Pammel,
Your very kind letter has just reached me, and in reply will say that you are a much better judge of Cameras than myself, and any good one that will answer the purpose will do, of course I should like to have a first class one. Also the same respecting the micrometer. My microscope is of the Continental pattern (Bausch & Lomb.)
I appreciate your kindness very much and trust I will be able to do something in the way of remuneration by sending you specimens.
Yours very truly
G. W. Carver.
Best wishes to Mrs. Pammel & the children.
