Dr. L. H. Pammel
Ames Iowa.
My dear Prof. Pammel,
Many thanks for your kindnesses I shall keep the plants you desire in mind and secure as many as possible for you.
Prof. I have thought seriously about my Pharmo. Collection of plants, and think it best as I expressed to you some time ago (while there) that I ought to give it to some school. The insects are doing it serious damage now.
Seriously what do you think of it? My efforts are now being directed along the lines of fungi, which I find in all that I can well care for.
Yours very truly
Geo. W. Carver.
