April 9, 1903
Dr. L. H. Pammel,
Ames, Iowa.
My Dear professor Pammel:
I have your favor of April 4th, with enclosure to Mr. Crawford, who is not here now and I do not exactly know where he is; but I will take charge of the enclosure and when I find out his whereabouts I will forward it to him.
I trust you are quite well and that you are having as delightful weather as we are having here. I often think of you when we are wondering through the woods and gathering specimens of various kinds. I am glad to know that you will get the hop roots for Mr. Ward as he will appreciate them most highly.
With best wishes, I am,
Yours most sincerely,
G.W. Carver
